Once a passionate bedroom-based guitarist, Angus Jarrah Beeby has now nestled himself amongst the flourishing music scene in Melbourne, Australia. Studying full-time and playing gigs with bands such as Bōnewoman and The Bosscats, he is constantly immersing himself in new sonic ideas to quench his everlasting thirst for musical understanding. His influences are a melting pot of Psychedelic, Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop drawing upon artists such as The Velvet Underground, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, George Benson, Jurassic 5 and John Coltrane to name but a few.
When approaching music Angus has an open mind and humble heart - always willing to experiment and take risks with new sounds to broaden his capabilities on his instrument and further his musicianship. He marvels at the endless possibilities of rhythm and harmony and is excited about the musical journey that will continue long after he completes his Advanced Diploma at Melbourne Polytechnic.
